Chemung Chapter's annual organ crawl this year visited the
lovely 1 manual 1872 Garrett House instrument at the
Jacksonville Community Church.
We then proceeded to the residence of Bruce and Nancy
Radloff in Interlaken. The delightful 1955 Gabriel Kney
practice organ shares Nancy's stand-alone studio with a reed
organ, a harpsichord and a splendid 9' Steinway.
After lunch at the Ithaca Wegman's Market Cafe we wound our
way to the hamlet of Erin and the wonderful musical
instrument collection of Mr. and Mrs Robert Oppenheim.
Organs in the collection include a small street organ, a
Belgian Dance Hall organ, a Wurlitzer Band organ and a
Wurlitzer theater organ. Some of the other instruments are
shown in the gallery.
Our thanks go out to Dave Lenington for his usual fine job
of setting this tour up. Mike Roseboom assisted Dave
